Picnic Overlook

There was a gentle rain falling when I visited Lincoln Woods State Park over lunch. There were very few people around, thanks no doubt to the gloomy weather, but I remembered this spot down one of the more remote dirt roads. The picnic table is placed on a bald granite slab, affording any picnic-goers a great view of the pond, but the way that table wobbles and leans heavily to the right would make eating there somewhat less than enjoyable. Still, it made an interesting photo scene.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
