Holiday Paddle

Today's a holiday - Columbus Day - in the US, so many folks have the day off. With temperatures comfortably in the mid-50s, Roger Williams Park was a bustle of activity. I decided to follow one of the footpaths across a wrought iron bridge to take some photos along one of the many rivers that flow through the park. When I saw this couple paddling along in a swan boat, I positioned myself such that they would be framed by these overhanging branches with the small stone bridge in the background. It worked well, save for the car that crossed the bridge at the most inopportune time. I did consider editing it out, but in b&w it didn't stand out enough to warrant the effort.
Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, protect highlights, and details. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
