Back at Haines Point again today, I noticed a motorboat sandwiched between sections of the dock that had been dismantled for the winter. While looking at how to best use it in today's photo, I was drawn to the motor, which is missing its casing. The salt coating the entire assembly added an interesting texture.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
