I was at Haines Point for today's photo. The park was relatively bare, and there was no activity to be seen. This ring-billed gull kept a close eye on me the whole while. No matter how close I got, though, he didn't budge from this perch.

Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
