Winter's Arrival

Winter arrived at 23:03 UTC (6:03 PM EST) today. Autumn passed the seasonal baton to winter by providing a thin carpet of fresh, wet snow this morning. It didn't last long - there's no snow remaining in my yard tonight - but I'm sure Old Man Winter appreciated the thoughtful gesture. I, however, could have done without the cold wet wind that accompanied the light dusting of white stuff.
Post processing started with a neutral filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
