A Welcome Sight by olivetreeann

A Welcome Sight

Well! I feel like I've been away for seven years, not seven days! I'm not only behind on 365, I'm behind in everything! Today was my first day back at the pool. What a welcome sight for my achy joints! Everything seemed so cheery with the blue sky and sunlight coming through the windows. So, little by little, I'll be catching up with comments and posts and life in general. Can't wait to see what you've all been up to- I missed you!!
Welcome Home, Ann. It's always nice to be back even with the work of unpacking, laundry, and catching up again. Hope that your trip went well. That pool sure does look inviting . . great capture and lighting.

This is an excellent shot... Great lighting. Nice subject. I'd love to jump in that pool right now!
February 2nd, 2012
@prttblues Thanks Bev! Be careful when you jump- it's deepest point is only 4 feet!

Beautiful lighting and do you have this pool all to yourself? Missed you and look fwd to viewing your other shots, too.

@cimes1 Thanks Carole! I missed looking at everyone's photos, but did enjoy spending time with the family too. The pool opens at 9 and Dianne and I are usually there within the first hour. We do basically have it to ourselves at present, but every once in a while someone says they're going to come. Most of the time they don't. We're spoiled!

It is cheery! I love the reflection ...the reflection of the roof beams look like some sort of benches are in the water. Glad you are home safe and sound!

@espyetta Thanks MaryBeth! Yes the reflections in the pool are awesome. Check out my shot on Aug. 8, 2011 for the best of them all.

2 weeks until my family holiday, cannot wait, your pool shot really puts me in the notion, nothing beats that total chill out of peace and a pool
February 5th, 2012
@melorac Thanks Carole! Some mornings I don't want to go there (it's cold, I'm lazy, etc.) but I get myself up and go, and then I'm really glad I did! It is a great place.

You've made this look so inviting! What with our heatwave, I could easily just plop into that wonderful cool water...
February 9th, 2012
@kloud Thank you Bonnie (you'd be slightly disappointed though since it's an indoor pool and heated (o: )
