When I visited Christopher, Betsy and Isaac back in the summer the fruit bowl was filled with plums and peaches. Now that we're in mid-winter, oranges, bananas and kiwis are nestled there. No matter what the season, no matter what fruit, the fruit bowl is always a refreshing splash of color in a home- not to mention a tasty treat for the taste buds.
Oh more fruit..I've been on a sort of a diet to loose a few pounds before my cruise on Sunday..one day nothing but fruit and cabage soup. next day nothing but vegies and the soup and third day both with the soup.
the soup I like best its so tasty the way I make it.
yes fruit is always in the house...we eat a lot of it...so good for you.
so I enjoyed looking at your collage.
@httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! @sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @karenann Thanks Karenann- well I know what you mean. I love strawberries and usually they're not too bad through the winter, but this year I buy them and within a day they look awful! I suppose the crazy weather patterns are the culprit.
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! @bruni Thanks Bruni! I would do the same if I was in your shoes. @digitalrn Thanks Rick. I do fine with certain fruits, and others, not so fine.
@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- I'm partial to the peaches and bananas myself. @alia_801 Thanks Alia! Sort of puts you in the mood for a fruit salad, doesn't it? (o:
@allie912 I checked the theme- I thought you meant fruit! Anyway, neither of these pictures were shot this week, so I don't think I could tag it for the theme, however, I did think my mushroom macro qualified so I tagged that. Thanks for the heads-up Allison!
@melorac Thank you Carole! Betsy (my daughter-in-law) has a really pretty fruit bowl too. My "fruit bowl" is a wooden basket that my older son made many many years ago as he is 32 now!
@summerfield Thank you Vikki! I keep looking at this and think, "Well if I can get there in the Spring and Summer, I'll have another 4 Seasons collage!"

@allie912 Thanks Allison! I don't know I'll have to check!
@mrssmith Thanks Carla!
I confess- there was one less banana in the bowl after this picture was taken.
