It was my turn to serve in the nursery this morning at church. I know it's a blessing for the moms to be able to leave their children in good hands while they go to the service. But it's also a blessing for grandmas like me whose grandchildren live out of state. Ian snuggled in my lap for a good part of the morning and I was in grandma heaven.

I did have a full-face one that was rather cute as well, but I forgot to ask his mom for permission to post it here, so I put this one up because you can't see his face. I ended up liking it better anyway after I cloned out the distracting stroller which was in the original.
I like the motion/blur in this....it is so eye catching and colorful. I know what you mean with grandma heaven...I have not had that, but I have had "Favorite Aunt Heaven!"

The moms really appreciate it, and I get to play with some children and love them while I'm apart from my own grandchildren.
fantastic picture Ann! little boys love grandparents so much! I know my little one enjoys it so much and even behaves like an angel when he's with my parents

Although he's not my flesh and blood grandchild, I enjoyed being his care taker for the morning and I'm sure his own grand parents love watching him too!
