Same Subject- Day 1 by olivetreeann

Same Subject- Day 1

A random shot of a church steeple from the car at a traffic light in Stowe, Vermont ended up setting the stage for my "same subject" pictures this week. Little did I know when I shot this just how much I'd be looking up in the next few days.

I have uploaded this from my niece's computer and for some reason Picmonkey will not allow me to turn it around. So for now, you'll have to look at it sideways! As soon as I'm home, I promise to fix it!
Ann this makes me feel upside down...good one!

@httpgeffed @summerfield Sorry about this Colleen and Vikki- I can't seem to get Picmonkey to turn it around. I will have to adjust it when I get home.

it's right side up now. needs straightening. or more tilting so the spire end up in the corner to give it a nicer perspective. but if you must know, i have resigned myself to the original position. :-)

I like the composition

Nice one. I musunderstood the next step in the challenge. When it said same subject, I initially thought is meant the same as the previous week. I told you I was tired. So I had to go in and edit my posting a bit. So now the remainder of the week should be ducks, right?

Love the perspective

@summerfield I can't straighten it- it's a random shot- taken while the car was moving without really looking at what was in the frame. So it's sort of like the original position. (o:

@kerristephens thanks Kerri!
@digitalrn thanks Rick- umm, yes, if you've taken a picture of a duck, then ducks it is. I must turn in for the night, otherwise I won't got to sleep- but you could broaden it to nature if you took the shot of those ducks in the wild and you don't want a collection of 7 duck pictures. hehe
@kimmistephens thanks Kimmi!

Very pretty steeple reaching for the sun!! Love the angle. My granddaughter is going to Vermont with her youth group from church this summer. It's so beautiful there, at least it was when I went to Stowe back in the late 60s. I don't think you should turn it around....like it just the way it is!

I actually like this angle.

Very nice angle and subject. Very beautiful. It's where our help, strength and comfort come from. Praying for you and your family! ((Hugs))

Thank you everyone. I really shot this on a whim. We were stopped at a light and just starting to resume driving when I snapped it. I love its randomness. Thank you also for all the encouraging words!

@summerfield I can't remember if I explained this or not, but it's a very random picture shot out of the window in a moving minivan. I didn't have time to compose the shot, so it is what it is- steeple and all.
