I attempted to over expose this candle today and although the "plain" shot did look over exposed, I couldn't resist fooling around with the adjustable threshhold on this one too. It washed out the candle, but I like what it did to the flame and the old Bible in the background.
whoa! i thought i was looking at an old photograph or still from an old movie. this looks like mr. scrooge's candle lamp. it's beautiful. the shot's fabulous!
@espyetta Thank you MaryBeth! That's a result of the adjustable threshhold- how and why it turned it out that way I'm not sure, but I liked the effect!
@naomi Thank you Naomi! It was a rather tall candle, but most of it had already burned down during our power outage with Hurricane Sandy, so there wasn't much left for this shot!
@tara11 Thank you Tara!
I was really trying to get through the month without "doctoring" a shot, but this just looked so much better, I couldn't undo it!
Thank you Rick, Colleen and Bev! I like it too!
Thank you ladies! I feel as if I cheated a bit on this one by doctoring it. But I liked the outcome too much to undo it!
@alia_801 Thank you Alia!
@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole!
@sangwann Thanks Dione!
@fullcircle Thank you Cindy!
