Me March Challenge- Something I step on.
Mull Over March Word: lines (straight or curved)
Here's something that has lots of lines and I step on it every Sunday- the hallway to the Teen Sunday School class. We meet in an upstairs room in the manse. I love the wood plank floors of this old house.
@ellimae Thanks Ellen! I'd just finished reading an article about how good photographers will have a shot in mind and then go about setting it up to make it happen- so I put that into practice on this one!
Thank you Miley!
Thank you Katie!
Thank you Chris!
I'm glad you liked it. I thought about how I wanted to do this shot and set it up according and surprisingly it only took me two shots to get it right! The first shot didn't show the lifted foot and I agree with you Katie- it was a better shot all the way around with the foot up.
@nadaa Thank you Nada! I was trying to think of a title that combined both challenges but couldn't come up with one for "something I step on"! So drawing a title out of the shot and the March word was the next best thing.
@digitalrn Thank you Rick! @prttblues Thanks Bev! I was definitely NOT laying on the floor! That's my feet in the shot! I put the camera on the timer, set it on the floor, pressed the button and walked a few steps and stopped mid-step unitl I heard the camera click. I never go down on the ground. With both knees and a hip plagued with arthritis, it's really hard to get back up! So, 99% of the time if you see a shot like this, that's what I did- put the camera down and pressed the button.
Thank you everyone! This was a shot that I perceived in my mind and knew exactly how I would take it. I'm glad you liked it!
Thank you Terry, Naomi, Laraine, Kathryn and Lisa! Glad you like it!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! I really appreciate that!
Thank you Alia, Huda, Dione, Carole and Jackie! And thank you so much for the fav Jackie!!
@lisabell Thank you Lisa!
