The weekly trip to the supermarket provided me with today's adventure in black and white. I was getting some diced tomatoes when I noticed the cans on the lower shelves really had a nice pattern to them.
Shot in color, sharpened, increased contrast to intensify the red labels, converted to black and white with a blue filter, and adjusted the contrast further to increase the distinction between the black and white areas. Added a black border.

@thepinchins Thank you Pinchins! It's funny but the supermarket is one of my favorite places to find pictures. I think the guys who watch on the security cameras probably think I'm quite eccentric! That's ok with me (o:
@gratefulness Thank you Sandi! It's a simple "border" frame with the inside color shrunk to 0 and the outer color in black at 10. My theory is that frames should complete a picture or look like they are a part of the picture, not distract you from it.
