So Sad by olivetreeann

So Sad

Didn't get out and about to take any shots today and was disappointed that I JUST missed seeing a flock of turkeys pass through my backyard. I hope they return tomorrow. Pulled this one out of the archives from our trip to Batavia a few weeks ago. Boy do I miss my grandchildren!!
Another smily face!

Thank you my friends for allowing me a moment to indulge in a little moping. Glad you enjoyed the face- it was one of those things that just jumped out at me when I first saw it.

My older son and his family live on the western side of NY State Maggie. It's actually not that far, it's just that I can't pack up and go whenever I want as hubby prefers for us to go together. The good news is that we had a successful visit with Leigh this summer so that means we'll have another next year and after that the others might come out for visits too.

Very cool find. It does look like a sad face. Was it like that before you took the shot, or did you do some arranging before taking it?

How expressive! Fantastic observation!

I like the bright colour

@skstein Thank you Sandy! I shot it as it was- no doctoring. I was amazed that the weathered pine needles had stuck to the machine that way.
@yaorenliu Thank you Yao!
@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian!

Nice shot, Ann. It does look like it's sad. I think if it was a different color it might smile.
