Didn't get out and about to take any shots today and was disappointed that I JUST missed seeing a flock of turkeys pass through my backyard. I hope they return tomorrow. Pulled this one out of the archives from our trip to Batavia a few weeks ago. Boy do I miss my grandchildren!!
Thank you my friends for allowing me a moment to indulge in a little moping. Glad you enjoyed the face- it was one of those things that just jumped out at me when I first saw it.
My older son and his family live on the western side of NY State Maggie. It's actually not that far, it's just that I can't pack up and go whenever I want as hubby prefers for us to go together. The good news is that we had a successful visit with Leigh this summer so that means we'll have another next year and after that the others might come out for visits too.
@skstein Thank you Sandy! I shot it as it was- no doctoring. I was amazed that the weathered pine needles had stuck to the machine that way. @yaorenliu Thank you Yao! @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian!
@prttblues Thank you Bev! Maybe- although a construction machine might like a bright color like this. @vickisfotos Thank you Vikki and thank you so much for the fav!!
