I was asked to take some pictures at a family picnic last week (definitely out of my comfort zone!). This charming little lady entertained me while we waited for one of her cousins to arrive.
Thank you so much for all the views, encouraging comments and favs! Charlotte made it easy. We were just sitting on the steps chatting (more like she was telling me all sorts of things and I was listening with my camera in my lap). She asked me if I wanted to take a picture of her! When I connect with children like that I can do a portrait just fine. But I'm not sure I'd be able to do this professionally. And it's not the kind of picture taking I'm drawn to either. But this little miss was just plain delightful and it was a piece of cake to capture her up close and personal. Since posting this I have worked on it further removing that blurry pole to the right and tweaking some of the sharpness of her hair. I have a color version too for the parents and grand parents. I hope they like this shot as much as I do. Thanks again everyone!
@grammyn Unfortunately she lives in Virginia- but she would be a great model indeed!
