Pemaquid Point Lighthouse by olivetreeann

Pemaquid Point Lighthouse

I enjoyed a wonderful walk around the grounds at this lighthouse and what a day! The weather was perfect.

Located 67 miles northeast of Portland, Maine, Pemaquid Lighthouse still sends its beacon out to ships at sea. It was built under the order of John Quincy Adams in 1827 and is another popular photo stop for photographers as they move up and down the coast.

My apologies for so many uploads as I catch up with my project. You are never obligated to comment on all my photos when I do this!
