Just when you thought it was safe to walk past the Coneflower... You've seen most of these before, but yesterday as I headed to the car, I noticed the reason why Coneflowers are called cone-flowers. A little green flying thing was feasting as well, so, I HAD to take another picture of this amazing flower. Actually shot #4 and #6 are brand new; shot #5 is from a previous shoot, but hasn't been used before. Will this be the last Coneflower shot of the season? Stay tuned and find out!
Please don't make it the last cone flower of the year! I know you will see more from me, as this is really the only flower in bloom at my house right now. On these hot days, the butterflies love them, so keep your eyes peeled! Thank you for the information from your daughter-in-law. We'll adapt and be fine. My son's blood work came back negative, hallelujah for him!
@cdford I don't know if I'll get butterflies this year as I only have a few plants (4 to be exact) but I know how they spread and I'll be saving all the seeds to plant next year so, I know I'll get them eventually. Glad to hear the good report for your son. And yes, I'm sure there'll be more (o:
