It has been ages since I was in New York City! I forgotten how awesome the skyscrapers are. Although these buildings weren't the tallest ones I saw, I did notice several lovely squares gracing the architecture. Looks like someone forgot to reset the clock though!
@karenann Thanks Karenann! Glad to see you up and running again, so you must be getting settled in. It's been ages since I was in the city and it was nice to go. I love the museums, theaters and architecture, but I still don't think I'd want to live there although I know some people love it!
@steeler Thank you Howard! @flydragon Thank you Flydragon. I wish that I had had a little more time to do a better shot, and some in b/w, but for a quick shot, this will have to do. I do like that contrast between the beautiful old stone buildings and the modern ones of glass and steel.
@cimes1 Thank you Carole! lol on the title- couldn't decide whether to call it Time Squared (for the clock) or Times Squared (because of the location- not too far from the well-known NY landmark). Finally decided location trumped the clock.
@digitalrn That's a little bit of a surprise Rick! Well, if there was ever a time to go and something to see, the Dead Sea Scrolls would be it! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! @mrssmith Thanks Carla! Well, if you ever do come out this way- you let me know!
@alia_801 This was one of those times I didn't really see the square while I was shooting the photo! My friend saw the old clock and said, "That's a pretty building- take a picture of that!" So I did- and it was only when I was uploading the picture did I realize I'd gotten all those squares too.
@flydragon Thank you Flydragon. I wish that I had had a little more time to do a better shot, and some in b/w, but for a quick shot, this will have to do. I do like that contrast between the beautiful old stone buildings and the modern ones of glass and steel.
@httpgeffed Thanks Colleen!
