Memories from Christmas 1957 when a very YOUNG Ann celebrated with gifts by the fireplace, and a favorite book from my childhood- When We Were Very Young by A. A. Milne.
So lovely, Ann. You're so adorable in those pictures. Cannot ever replace items like this and this photo is really beautiful . . love the pov and the great processing.
@karenann Thank you Karenann- you are too kind! @kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @summerfield Thank you Summerfield! That was a LOONG time ago!! @digitalrn Thanks Rick- I do have some very fond memories of the home I grew up in. @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen- this book of poetry features Christopher Robin, but no Pooh or Tiger. However Milne explains how he came about with the name Pooh in the introduction. @friendie Thanks Carole! @sanera Thanks Karenann!
@alia_801 Thank you Alia- I remember the house more than I remember posing for these pictures- in fact I posted a picture of the house last month- can't remember what date though... @daveanajao Thanks Dave!
So sweet Ann. it must've brought back many memories of times before
looking at old pictures. what a treasure..unfortunately I don't have any..who thought of bringing baby pictures when immigrating into a foreign country...everything was left at home including pictures.
@bruni wow Bruni somehow I missed this comment. I was going through pictures for a totally different reason and discovered it! I think it's just amazing the thought of immigrating. How would you even decided what to bring to a place you'd never been before? Sad though that they didn't bring one or two at least but certainly understandable! Sorry for the belated thanks on this comment!
