Blossoms

The flowering trees are just starting to blossom on my sister's property. As much as I love the blossoms they seem bittersweet to me this time. Their beauty is overshadowed by my concern for my father. But I am reminded of the passage of Scripture which encourages me to "consider the lilies of the field". God has clothed them in splendor and holds the world He created in His hands. He also holds my father.
