Graciously Greeting Gravigrades

The first Mad Minute Word this week is gravigrade. In the noun form it is an animal that walks with a heavy step.

Yes, I know we're supposed to take this today and post it on Wednesday but when you're 10 pictures behind- you post them when you take them!
Very nice shot

@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
@maggiemae Thank you Maggie! They wouldn't be able to do the job- they are miniature elephants- only about 1 inch high.
@taffy Thanks Taffy! I don't own any hippopotami so elephants had to do- hehe.
@eniaral Thanks Laraine- see my comment to Maggie!

@eudora Thanks Diane! I chose the navy as it is the "opposite" of my salmon colored bathroom sink. I wanted to make the elephants really stand out.
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! They are actually tiny- just about an inch tall. I'm not sure where they came from- probably India. They were bought years ago in a Fair Exchange type craft/gift store.

Nice shot, Ann! :) Love the decorations on them. Are they miniatures? Wooden elephants of some sort? Whatever they are, they are very cool. Very tribal. Good job photographing them!
