Amazing how a feather can stick to things! The one I shot the other day stuck to my finger and I couldn't get it off without damaging it! Great contrasting textures in this!
Nice shot, Ann. Great textures in the feather and the wood. I at first thought it was a cocoon until I read the title. Nice eye. I wouldn't have seen it. I wonder what kind of bird left it behind.
@digitalrn Thanks Rick! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @httpgeffed Thank you Colleen! @homeschoolmom Thank you Lisa! @daisymiller Thank you Daisy! @taffy Thank you Taffy! @prttblues Thank you Bev! I think it belonged to a Carolina Wren because it was stuck on a log from the wood pile and they sometimes make little nests in there. It probably came from the breast or underside area which is a light gray on most birds. @fugitivemoments Thank you Linda and thank you so much for the fav! @cimes1 Thank you Carole! @salza Thanks Sally! @nicoleterheide Thanks Nicole! @thistle Thank you Joyce! @eudora Thank you Diane!
