Our photo club held an evening of table-top photography. I had high hopes of taking some shots with hard light and back lighting as well as some fun shots of the building where we meet with my crystal ball. But I ended up spending most of the meeting by my oil and water set up- very disappointing as I'm sooooo finished with that thing! I did get a few quick shots off at this table- not enough time to really do what it was set up for, but I did like the way the light was changing the color of the flower depending on how much or how little light was falling on it. I had thought I would convert this to black and white, but in the end a shot I took on a whim drew me to posting it as black and white over this one. Maybe I'll save this for a rainy day and play around with it in black and white then.
