From my photo walk on September 19th. After wandering about Portland, PA and taking shots from the foot bridge across the Delaware, our small but intrepid group decided to see if we could find Lake Minsi. And we did! I could not sneak up on these little frogs to save my life! To make matters "worse" I'd brought the T3i instead of my Powershot (which has the zoom). I did get pretty good at determining which bumps on the surface were frogs and which were "not-frogs" so I took a few shots with the hopes of being able to crop close enough in post-processing to get a decent picture of one of them. This was as close as I could go without ruining the quality of the picture, but as suspected this would never work in a larger format!
I am very impressed with your ability to even find him in this water where the reflections of the trees were certain to camouflage their appearance! Nicely seen and shot Ann!
Thank you Pam, Taffy, Phoebe, Lee-Ann, Debs, and Katy! Thanks for stopping by to take a peak and say a few words!
@grammyn After scaring about a dozen of them when I came to close I figured out what kind of "shapes" to look for- and especially the way the bulging eyes had a very distinct look. What was trickier was keeping the right "bumps" in focus!
Thank you so much for the favs Allison, Lynn and Linda!
