It's divided into 3 categories: story telling, technical, and artistic expression. These categories rotate from week to week with different challenges accordingly. This week was "story telling" using the Rule of Thirds. Took some thinking to come up with an interpretation for that! But this is what I ended up with.
I am looking forward to following your challenge this year Ann. This is a great story and I wonder what you were making. I spent some time this afternoon taking my week 2 photo for my self portrait challenge.

i might do some of the challenges, but most of it, especially the technical, is out of my brain's capabilities (no, i don't want to try :-P). but we'll see.
@digitalrn hahaha! @nicolecampbell It is going to be a real challenge for me as some of them I'm not even sure I know how to do. But that's what it's for- to learn new things! I don't think I'll be brave enough to post the pictures on their website/facebook page though. @summerfield Thanks Vikki- ha! You think I know how to handle some of them?? If week one was a puzzler, week 2 is worse. A compelling picture in winter? That is going to take me all week to do! LOL I will check those tags out and add them later- in a bit of a rush right now.
@olivetreeann - sometimes pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zone allows us to grow. Let me know if you need any help as I would be happy to discuss ideas with you x
@nicolecampbell This week it's the technical category and we are to "shoot a compelling scene sooc". The file is to be held on to because near the end of the challenge we get to back to this shot and process it. But this week it's sooc. The sooc is no problem- but "compelling" has me going "hmmmm....". I know I'll come up with something at some point. In the meantime the wheels are turning.
