I'm hosting the current Shoot Without Looking Challenge so I thought I'd take a shot at it even though my shot won't qualify for the vote-off. I'm always curious as to what's going to show up on the screen when I do one of these random pictures. I had fun with this one.
@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- it's a plant, a vine to be exact. @littleconnie Thanks Connie! you never know what you're going to get with these- or what you'll be able to do with them. @dawnee Thanks Dawn! @magrathea Thank you Thea. The idea here is not to compose the shot but to aim the camera somewhere without really "looking" and take a shot. You can then play with the image to your heart's content. But the gist of it all is you can't officially compose the picture- hence the random way this falls across the frame and the fact that it's completely out of focus. @mandygravil Thank you Mandy! @kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @henrir Thank you Henri!
@grammyn Some artists do have a goal in mind when they start- and certainly the Impressionists whose stylistic paintings this effect is reminiscent of painted that way because of how they were interpreting the light. But my purposes really start out as something fun to do. True though, sometimes the results are quite artistic!
