I just looked at my note and realized it's MACRO straw, not MUNDANE straw. Silly me- it would really help if I read the lists I write for myself once in a while! Oh well, no worry, I don't like this shot anyway! It's one of the worst shots I've taken for 365. Maybe I'll start that discussion up tomorrow- it was really fun to see what people considered their worst shots and how they came to be taken. But for now, please do not feel obligated to say "good shot" or "I like your use of selected coloring", because really, this is not only a run-on sentence, this shot is really bad!!!
Not bad at all! I like the close-up view of the face and it makes an interesting composition with the straw. Even though I’m not supposed to mention the SC I think that was a nice touch!
@robz LOL more like out of focus! I had the tripod set up and the screen facing me but it didn't really register in my brain that I wasn't focusing on the straw. I inadvertently focused on my lips so the straw was a blurry mess when I uploaded it to the computer.
@grammyn Thank you Katy- would have been much better if the straw was in focus and not the face- but still, this has been done before. The sc is a cheap attempt to save the picture but I don't think it was that successful this time (mostly because the straw is out of focus!).
