I went outside to take some shots of my neighbor's Christmas lights (yes, he's got Christmas lights on some of his trees so "the deer won't run into them at night") for a photo competition our club is having and saw this. I remembered seeing a write-up about this month's Blood Moon and eclipse although we will not be able to see it here in the Northeast. Nonetheless it was a gorgeous yellow! So the Christmas lights had to wait a few minutes while I captured that beautiful moon.
Fabulous. I have to say, not only have I never been able to take a picture like that ( too many street lights and house lights in my neighborhood) but I have never even seen the moon looking that good.
