Flowers on a Vine

I feel like a slug, falling back on flowers so much, but flowers ARE an easy target, and there are so many of them that it's hard to resist their call.
The petals on these flowers have an interesting fuzzy looking texture when you zoom in.

You did a fabulous job of capturing the the "fuzz"! ;~} I have to agree with your philosophy of flowers. When I started this project I tried very hard to avoid capturing them but they are so available and ever changing and beautiful I had to.

What's wrong with flowers? I love them, love looking at good pictures of them (like this one) and find them fun to photograph. Yes, they are easy (up to a point), great morale boosters when you are feeling uninspired and frustrated with hard things.

Hey - I am a slug for flowers too! Partly because hey are an easy target and because I like flowers and nature. 365 is great in so many ways and it teaches you "really see". Nice shot.

Flowers are great, but I've gone the route that they are almost too easy to fall back on. My daughter challenged me a year ago March to not take any flower photos during the entire month. Tough to do, especially when they're all in bloom, but I succeeded. I think I've taken maybe a handful of flowers since June where the flower was the main subject. I don't count butterflies on flowers as flower shots. The butterfly is the subject, the flower is just peripheral then. ;-)

What a beautiful shot. Love the colors of these flowers. So many of us have lots of photos of flower shots as they are easy to take photos of and available to take also, certain times of the year, especially. For me, this time of the year, flowers will be sparse and hopefully the ducks will be around so I have something to photograph with the cold and rain. Flowers are natures beauty and I have learned so much about so many as they are different in so many areas and you can ask if you do not know what they are and people on this site are happy to share with you what they are.
