Have you ever had a clown pop up right when you needed him?
I had taken some shots of roses and bougainvillea earlier in the day, so I'd have something under my belt in case nothing else turned up, but I was really hoping I'd be able to come up with something else.
Well, while I was driving and pondering my situation, I turned a corner and saw.....HIM! LOL
Don't know why he was dressed up like that or where he was going. I just pulled over, jumped out and asked if I could please take his picture. He was a bit surprised and paused for a moment and then shrugged and said 'sure.' He even asked if I would like his friend to take a picture of the two of us together, which I politely declined.
I snapped a couple shots, thanked him sincerely and jumped back in my car. Zoom, zoom.
I know the lighting is bad, but I didn't want to impose on him by asking him to move here or there, face this way or that. I was just SO happy that he appeared when he did. :-)
So, I lightened it up a little during processing to compensate for the shadows.
I'm beginning to think the Photo-gods are smiling on me, considering the way some photo ops drop into my lap when I'm truly in need. First the peacocks, and now this clown.
I'm almost afraid to see what else will land on me. LOL
What a great shot and you are so brave to pop out and ask to take a photo. I am not that brave yet. It is amazing what people will do in order to get a photo as you go on in your project.
@darsphotos
I normally wouldn't stop and ask a stranger on the street like I did, but I figure what the heck...he's a CLOWN! He knows he's a bit of an oddity on a city street, right? LOL
One that I wished I had asked for a photo was a man in a kilt that I spotted one day. I almost stopped, but my foot just wouldn't step on the brake and I still regret it. He looked fabulous.
Holy Smoke! Thank you so much.
