Pewter Bells

These are off the beaten path, tucked away in a little alcove in The Nature Park. They look like little tarnished pewter bells to me.

I have no idea what they are. I only discovered this little park about 4 months ago, but I am so eager to see it in the spring and summer months. I'll be sure to check out this particular bush to see what it looks like at that time.
I really LOVE these little pods. :-)
