I am really having fun chasing lizards in the park! I came to this location to get another shot of the elf door that I posted a few days ago, just to capture it in the sun versus the shadows from the first shot.
As I was doing that, here comes Mr Lizard right across the door and up onto the tree trunk. Of course I moved in ever so slowly for a few shots. He didn't take kindly to that and quickly let me know I had overstepped my bounds. Whooosh, he was gone!
It's too bad he didn't choose to pause ON the door, as that would have been one cool capture.
Another great capture! The details and textures are wonderful! This project is great because it make you notice the small unique wonders all around us, like these lizards! They are really beautiful!
I agree with Kathy. We are not lucky enough to have these amazing little critters zipping about and so to see yours are a real treat. He thinks he is camouflaged! Great shot.
