I Scream, You Scream

We ALL scream for....artichokes?

Well, I do anyway. Yum, yum. Love them. Favorite veggie in the whole wide world.
These fine specimens are growing in The Nature Garden.

Today you were supposed to be viewing some strange entry from the famous Doo Dah parade here in Pasadena. I've never had the pleasure of seeing it, but this year I happened to discover the date by accident.
I fully intended to be standing at the curb, shooting the crazy festivities, BUT my migraine had other ideas. Kept me awake most of the night and I felt like tepid sludge when the alarm went off.
There's always next year. :-/

Yum, I love artichokes as well and these look delicious. I hope your migraine was short lived. They are the worst. I too have said there is always next year one too many times. Hence my many duck and squirrel photos.
