I detoured off my usual route and stopped at Wrigley Mansion, which is officially 'Tournament House'. It is the headquarters of all that is Rose Parade related here in Pasadena.
There is a rose garden there that is open to the public, but please don't pick the roses.
I've posted a couple of shots of the grounds in my album in the past, but the roses weren't blooming at those times. Dare I say, they ARE blooming now? Wow! Such a wide variety.
It was late in the day, so much of the garden was in shadow, but I did manage to catch some nice light on this particular bush.
@webfoot
I'm thinking we may need to arrange a Pasadena Photo Day.
So many great subjects...the Colorado St bridge (on it and also from below), City Hall, CalTech, Old Town for street shots. So many possibilities. :-)
I have time off roughly the 2nd week of June and then the 1st week of July.
You'll probably be exploring a National Park? :-/
