I have no idea what kind of succulent this is, but I find it fascinating. And to think I almost missed it as I walked by, but the texture on the edges caught my eye and it was love at first sight. ;-)
You can see it in two stages of growth...the mature leaf with the 'pearls' along the edge and then the little baby, barely cutting his teeth. LOL
If any of you know the name of this succulent, please let me know.
I think this i what I call a Maternity Plant. Those "pearls" along the edge are actually the baby plant and if stuck in the ground will grow into new plants. I love this shot of it with such fabulous close up detail.
