If You Can't Stand the Heat, Get Out of The Kitchen
Yes, another boring shot, courtesy of the heat wave.
These are dishes from a few thrift stores around town. I've been wanting a mis-matched set of vintage dishes for a while and finally went searching. This collection isn't exactly what I had in mind when I set out on my hunt, but I do like the assortment and I think they complement each other very well.
I'm not sure if this is what's known as 'drab wear', but it is very drab. ;-) Sort of like my mood when I took this shot.
Nice plates! I like them, not drab but earthy. I have odd plates too - not vintage, but just pretty plates I grab as I see them. Added bonus of it being easy to replace when I break one!
These are not drab! They are waiting to have those delicious cookies displayed on them! Where are the cookies? Haha! I love the color tones of these plates.
