For her birthday, the girls and I surprised her. She didn't know where she was going, but Daughter #2 & I met Daughter #1 & Clare at a local brewery for lunch and a sampling of Mighty Squirrel beers. Being able to visit breweries and sample good beers is one of the things we have missed most over the past year and Mighty Squirrel just opened up this beer garden in their [shared] parking lot. We ordered our food and beer flights by phone and were limited to 90 minutes, which was about the right amount of time anyway. It was a nice way to spend part of our last day in Massachusetts this trip. Tomorrow we begin the two-day trek home.
