Clare has had neck and back issues, but she’s also scheduled for rotator cuff surgery in 18 days, so these long days in the car are, well, long and uncomfortable. Today was about 670 miles from Carbondale to Erie, PA. But tomorrow we’ll arrive in Massachusetts and see our daughters, their husbands, and “2½” grandchildren. So the consecutive long days in the car are worth it … and a good, dark beer doesn’t hurt!
