Seeds in the ground

Several days ago I pulled out a shrub from the south side (full sun) of our house and I have planted some of my milkweed seeds. I prepared the ground with potting soil for outdoor use and the light-brown diagonal lines are rows of sprouting mix that I found in the garage. We’ll see what comes up.
