It was a regular school/daycare/work day for the grandkids and the kids, so Clare and I did some yard work at their house: the rose bush in particular, but the flower bed and front yard in general. We filled several leaf bags from weeding, trimming, and cleaning out dead branches. Honest work, but rewarding at the end.
