@marlboromaam I forget what my medical chart says. Aha! Patient portal!
“Overweight … Body mass index 25-29 - overweight” Then I see they have my weight as “163 lbs 8 oz Without clothes” but I had clothes and shoes on, leading to “BMI 26.4 kg/m2.” My BMI with my usual weight — without clothes — is 25.3, which is a whole lot closer to the top of the not-overweight range, which is 24.9. Twenty-six-point-four, indeed… All in all, I'm guessing my fitness level is above the median for my age.
@rhoing Impressive! I just know my "ideal" weight for my height (5'7") and bone structure (on the small size of medium) is between 125 and 130 lbs. My BMI is outrageous - I'm sure! After talking with my doctor, I'm starting the Over 55 Nutrisystem plan for women in a couple of weeks. My left knee is doing much better with the plasma rich injection I had a couple of weeks ago, so when I can get the right knee done in a few months, I'll be able to be much more active than I have been for the past two years with bad knees and a bad back.
