Total Solar Eclipse 2024

The day has finally arrived! Clare and I have been prepping for this day for several months! This is about 80 minutes before totality arrived in Carbondale. Matching shirts and everyone sporting approved glasses.

I have no photos of the eclipse itself this time:
     • I got a good shot in 2017;
     • my long zoom lens for that shot has long since died; and
     • I wanted to focus on the experience that the kids and grandkids would have.
