I sat at our dining room window for a good part of the day with my camera on my tripod hoping to capture the birds, or a bird, in an unusual way. I caught this cardinal as it was about to land. I wasn't overly happy with the capture as part of the bird was outside the frame. So I added a textured background to give the illusion that something alarmed the bird to come to a stop.
