it was effing cold today and i went for a walk in the morning. bad move! i almost fainted from being too cold. i didn't notice it at the time i was taking this shot though, probably because i was conscious of the flocks of birds flying overhead - i've been a "victim" quite a few times by flying birds, if you know what i mean.
there are a number of old structures on the danforth alone; this minaret was just recently added to this mosque that had been there for more than twenty years. the mosque used to be a non-descript box-like structure but it has been renovated to include the arches partially seen in this photograph, as well as the minaret.
