actually, not yet. but i've almost packed one suitcase with the summer clothes i was using the last summer. tomorrow, i should be able to go to my storage and get my other suitcase with the rest of my summer clothes, most of which i intend to give away anyway.
the sun was out and the temperature of 12 degrees celcius would have been alright except for the lazy wind. if you stayed in the sun, you'd have been okay, but in the shade, it's definitely cold. i walked down to the waterfront and took photos. caught an airplane, a helicopter, birds in flight. i like this one, i didn't need to do anything with it. i love how the sunlight made the water sparkle. and check it out! i pressed something in the camera and there appeared on the screen the rule of thumb template. i wonder if it would still be there when i use it again tomorrow.
wow! i just checked the weather in manila today and it's 27 degrees celcius with humidity of 89% and it feels like it's 40 degrees. that is way too hot for my liking. i might have to go to the dollar store and get me one of those hand-held battery-operated mini fans.
@olivetreeann - i probably wouldn't mind the heat; just as long as it doesn't rain and the streets get flooded. i can no longer imagine myself wading in flood waters. thank you, ann.
love that song and this photo. fav. although in reading your narrative, i have to agree with you that the image of you wading through flood waters on your vacation is not what i have been imagining. beach, book, camera, friends. . .
@catsmeowb - "beach, book, camera, friends..." and food! don't think i can shop much. apparently UA has a limit of 50 lbs per luggage and second luggage is $70!!! gone are the days when the airlines try to please you. maybe next time i go anywhere i'd paddle a canoe across the pacific ocean! thanks, camille.
