@pandorasecho - no, i didn't even think about removing the footprints as i actually thought that it gave the viewer a perception of how much snow there was. "A reminder that even in solitude there have been others where we are now" - i love that. thank you, dixie.
@cscecil - we got more this morning and this afternoon, however, it was too cold to be going out and hunt for a photo op. so i just contented myself watching from the window. thank you, CS.
@sunnygreenwood - indeed. i saw someone's posting of snowy trees and there was a comment about how nice it was in black and white, but there was a little bit of colour in the pic. thank you, anne.
@beba8162 - this is far away from the main road so i doubt if the city sands or salts the boardwalk. my guess they probably don't. but it's always nice to be first in the scene of the snow. thank you, roberta.
@slash - thank you, susan. it was quite cold and in fact, i almost cried going back because my fingers hurt so much even though i wore what i just bought were 'photographer's gloves' i still suffered. thank you also for looking at my photo blog.
@lesip - hahaha! too old to be making snow angel. that would've been hilarious especially if someone with a camera and has a 365 account captures that scene. thank you, leslie.
I think that the footprints give a beautiful touch to this one, summerfield. Pristine is beautiful . . but so is life. It's a gorgeous pov and composition. I LOVE this!
@olivetreeann - i just now noticed that there were some falling snow captured in this photograph. i'd have prefered the snow to have been flawless but i agree with you, it's what makes the snow in this photo so interesting. thank you, ann.

@jannkc - thought so, too. thank you, jann.
