for the sake of our art and today's prompt, i had to eat a cheesecake :-) well, i didn't have to but not feeling very creative today and had a craving for something sweet yet different. thank heavens for "patisserie la cigogne" which is just next door to us. methinks they're getting tired of me over there because they can't guess what i'm going to get every time i go in.
well, this was raspberry cheesecake. the individual portion. it was quite small, mind you. cheesecake coated in white chocolate sauce, filled with raspberry cream on a sweet cookie crust and topped with a real raspberry and milk chocolate twirl. yummy! gone just like that! burp! pardon my manners!
they still have about a million cakes that i haven't yet tasted, 'tis a good thing i have a third album. :-)
You CRACK me up. We all should be enjoying those together . . now wouldn't that be a great photo-op! You must become a food photographer, and do this for MONEY. That patisserie should be paying you for the gorgeous ads that he's getting. :)
I KNEW!!! you were going to go to the patisserie for the before and after shot! Now, this one had my mouth watering. I love cheesecake and I love white chocolate! And I agree with Karen- you should print some of these out for the patisserie and barter photos for treats!
@karenann - that would be great, if all my 365 friends come with me to this patisserie. as for the patisserie paying me, for promoting their cakes, yes. but sadly, they have a very good photographer and admittedly i am nowhere near his calibre. i can probably apply as a 'taster' though. hahaha! thank you, karenann.
@olivetreeann - heavens! you're starting to know me well. i don't know if that is good or bad. :-) the cheesecake is good but because i used to make cheesecake and people bought them, i like to think my cheesecake was better. but because i don't make them anymore...oh, and i love white chocolate, too! thank you, ann.
well, I see a lot of neat pictures in our future if there are a million cakes you haven't tried!!!!! It would seem your duty to try them and share with us!! Wow -- this looks delicious!!!!
@cscecil - if the would-be size of my hips won't hamper my movement, then yes! hahaha. it's a good thing that the servings aren't big. i wouldn't go there if i was hungry. just their smoke salmon quiche served with salad is something i'd die for. ahoy! i better stop this talk of food. hahaha. thank you, CS.
