light creamy pasta with grilled tiger shrimp and roasted vegetables on a bed of fresh arugula. with a sprinkling of freshly grated romano cheese. to die for.
@cscecil - you are so kind, CS. in any case, i didn't put a frame on it as those things then to make the photo smaller. i wanted this as big as you can get it on your screen! it was very delicious and the cream is not heavy, in fact it was quite light. thank you, CS.
@bkbinthecity - yeah, right. i wish! hahaha! sometimes i don't know what calling i've missed - photography? culinary? teaching? writing? witching? wedding singer? hahahaha on the last one. thank you, brian.
Oh this is torture!!! I can't have a thing to eat because of "fasting" for a blood test in the a.m. This looks awesome.....can I have it when my test is over?!!
We had shrimp tonight too- although I'm not a gourmet cook so our was lightly sauteed in butter with a dash of garlic and about a half cup white cooking wine. Jasmine rice and freshly steamed broccoli added after the shrimp is cooked. Yours looks better! Nice shot.
@olivetreeann - this dish isn't special, just that i didn't want to waste the leftover veggies in the fridge so i had to recycle them with the pasta and the shrimp. when i cook with left-overs i like to jazz it up for palatability. but for a quick meal, i cook shrimp like you did then serve it over steamed rice with the broccoli on the side. i call it the lazy cook's recipe. thank you, ann.
@myautofocuslife - did i just make you drool? did you see the bread pudding? :-) thank. you. livia.
