it is one of the most ideal days of summer: strong sun, air-brushed clouds, a little breeze, water's calm, it's a nice day to go to the beach and soak in the waning days of summer. the water was incredibly blue, mimicking the colour of the beautiful sky. the boats are out in full force once again, as well as kayakers, paddlers, surfers and families lugging their grills for a picnic.
i had about 500 photos shot just today alone and it's too darn hard to choose just one special photo to share with you. in the end, i settled for this because it summed up my day today.
What gorgeous weather we are having - but fall is in the air. Don't mind, it's my favourite season. Looks like a wonderful area to waste some time and daydream. :)
@russianblue - cherry beach. early morning, best time to go. i went to the beaches near coxwell in the afternoon and it was teeming with people. i took some shots of boats and left. thank you, kass.
I love the pov .... the "dreaminess" of the whole composition. The sailboats drifting lazily along and that great bank of clouds on the horizen. Beautifully captured. Happy to hear about your wonderful day.
