Another mostly indoor day -- this time adding rain to mosquitoes and midges -- but time well spent in deleting 45GB of photos from my computer after doing double backups for May photos. Also deleted massive amounts from camera cards before backing up. Starting June with some computer memory and clean memory cards! Thank you all for your wonderful response to the two sunset photos -- it's so much fun to be able to share Beaver Island with you, and I do look forward to doing so throughout the summer. Took this yesterday but processed today -- some cropping and a bit of color adjustments.
Very nice I know you're pain on the photo management I do not think I have ever taken so many photos since starting 365. It soon fills up the computer !
Such beautiful color and wonderful detail, Taffy. Sounds like you are making good use of your time. I delete my photos from my card as soon as I put them on my computer. I go through them and delete what I do not want to keep, make folders and back up my computer. I still have too many photos on my computer and have a project scanning old paper photos once they are sorted. I will have to purchase a new camera in the near future. My Sony is scratched on the screen and is getting worse. I found that this is a problem that Sony knew about. I am out of warrantee so have been looking on ebay and will go into a store and see what feels good to me for a replacement camera and do more research to make sure I get a camera I am happy with. Still no Mindy today. We drove around the entire park after walking around the lake and the island in the middle. All geese were there except Mindy. Her friends, the white ducks and gray and white one were there together without her. I really think someone like me that had space took her home. I hope she is ok and happy. Would have loved to have had her for a pet. Will go back once a week and check and see if by chance she has returned and feed the ducks, geese and squirrels.
Beautiful image Taffy! Sounds like you had a very productive day inside. That's s job I need to do - clean up my computer! I just hate sitting st the desk for such a long time!
I'm delighted each time I see a post of these dear little blossoms! We'll have them to greet us up north, and this is my year to get a decent macro shot of them, as well! Try t enjoy your forced lock down and get some rest!
Not a flower I'm familiar with except in pictures, but such a lovely color. Congratulations on the photo/computer maintenance - it's on my to-do list. I have backed up everything tonight.
This is so pretty, I love forget me nots. At the moment I have all my holiday photos in 3 places..Dropbox, memory cards and a portable hard drive, I am so worried about them getting lost!........once I'm home I'll put them on my PC and have a clear up!
this one is great, love how you have composed it.
Congratulations, on deletions, so need to sort that out
