Through the Window by taffy

Through the Window

When Andie @ukandie1 and I were wandering the Botanic Gardens, we stopped inside the exhibition area which I'd never seen when it was empty. The view to the birch trees and winter grasses was quite amazing. This one does much better on black which brings out the bricks in the floor and the details through the window.
Extras album has a collage of different processing on a triad of trees...the garden really was a rich photographic experience - http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2016-01-25
We'd been there a few months ago (Junko and I) for the crafts exhibition and Junko took a shot looking in - http://365project.org/jyokota/365/2015-11-05

January 26th, 2016
Yours worked out better than mine, I seem to have ended up with the light fixtures slap bang in the middle of my shot, but I posted a b&w version in my extras album.

Wow amazing on black, very well spotted.
January 26th, 2016
Amazing...especially on black! Lucky you to have a clear shot uncluttered by other visitors. Although other visitors in a photo can add to the excitement and feel of an attraction, it's nice to get one like this sometimes.

@janetb Yes, it definitely paid to be there on a cold dreary day with no special events. This was a shot that is rarely possible!
January 27th, 2016
This looks great with the natural framing, and I like the large amount of negative space.

Love how different and fresh this looks- even in winter!
